Tapestry, with bugs

It's fall and the yellowjackets are looking for a place to hide from the cold. Hundreds of the poor little buggers have congregated on our folded umbrella in hopes of salvation. They don't know my wife too well...

Moran Morning 2: Dual Widescreen Wallpaper

Another dual widescreen submission. Download size is 3840 x 1200 px.

This shot reminds me of sipping Peets french roast coffee waiting for the bacon to fry, so we can go fishing. What a miserable existence. Heh.

Fleet Feet

A scene from the District Cross Country meet today. I love all the acceleration in this shot. Acceleration is good.

Oh, yeah. This is post 100. How 'bout that?

Edge of the World

Post 99. Wow. This one was a tough exposure-- might mess around with it a bit more in the next few days...

Clearing at Sunset: Dual Widescreen Wallpaper

I felt like putting up something for the dual monitor crowd today. This is formatted for two widescreen monitors at 3840 x 1200px. Subject is a sunset at City of Rocks (ID) earlier this summer, with a storm just clearing out.

Feed Box

Nothing dramatic today. Just liked the way that the light from the hole in the roof hit this old feed box. Thanks for the comments! They shouldn't matter, but I find that they do anyway. Quite a bit, actually.

Edit to Gray Morning

The conversion to sRGB seems to have really killed yesterday's post (or maybe it was operator error, again). Anyway, I've messed with it to try to bring a little pop back. Hopefully not too much.
I'm not re-posting the old one, so you'll just have to compare from memory ;-)
