I had to add "Tulip" to the title because a lot of people didn't recognize it and gave me some shocked-sounding comments.   This turned out to be an interesting Rorschach experiment-- I think I'll do more along these lines. ;-)

Difficult Choices

Should I go over to the left and stand by that nice warm camp fire;  should I go in the wall tent with the stove going full blast, or should I just stand here in the freezing dark and stare and stare and stare at the sky...

I decided to do all three, in rotation.  And it was good.

The First Day of Halloween!

It's the first day of Halloween, and my favorite witch is so excited--  Spiders and candy corn and naughty costumes for everyone! *clink*.

Sunset Launch

Launching our canoe into String Lake in Teton National Park at sunset.  A beautiful paddle up into Leigh Lake, with the elk bugling in the dark all around us.  Every day should end like this!
