With Intent

 


Watching with the the intensity of a hungry fox.  Quite literally.  This is out on Jackson Lake, just about a year ago.  I really loved this little dot of animated brillant soft color on the vast expanse of hard flat white ice.

It's probably cliche, but I think bison are just cool.  Even when they're only standing around being cold.  This is dawn in the GTNP last January-- just getting around to looking at some of the shots from that day.

November Sunset






Just a reminder that not all sunsets are warm, or rosy, or particularly inviting.  Especially in the North, in November.  This one has "November" written all over it.  Think I'll go make a cup of cocoa...
