Green Light: Dual Widescreen Wallpaper

Hostas.  I always shoot way too many photos of them because I like their bright electric veins so much.  Here's a little bit of an experimental treatment.

Prehistoric

A living fossil (well, not living anymore, but he was this week) in my back yard.  How many millions of years did these bugs have to buzz around waiting for us to finally grace the evolutionary stage?  Do you suppose their lives were the lesser for our absence?
