Mountains always have periods of calm. They just are not as memorable, on the whole, as the moments when the breeze is ruffling the water... least that's my take. What amazes me is the color of the sky. that is some seriously dark blue sky. Guessing that is partly over exposure but the effect is terrific.
Mountain weather has been getting wierd lately. So calm...
