Huddle for Warmth
Poor Daffodils... They've been taking a beating this year. I feel more like a floral war correspondent than an artist this spring. At least you won't have to look at any of the brutally abusive wind (45 mph) photos. (Getting the camera wet is one thing, but *dusty* is another entirely.) For their fragile look, the little flowers have proven remarkably resilient-- sun came out, wind died, and the little guys stood up straight again just like nothing had happened.

Frost Flags
A close-up of frost on the apple trees. Was thinking of naming this "Apple Blossoms,"but that seemed a bit snarky. Besides, with any luck, this tree may actually have some blossoms on it to shoot someday.

Bow Wave Revisited
This is a nearly identical photo to a shot posted back in early January. But now its March, the bow wave is deeper, and it's still snowing!

Icicles
For just a few days the weather was just perfect for icicles here. These grew two feet long in a couple of days, then were gone again a couple days later.
